The Georgia Latino Film Alliance (GALFA) is proud to present the GALFA Legislative Summit, a pivotal event bringing together state legislators, industry leaders, and filmmakers to discuss the future of multicultural storytelling in Georgia’s thriving film industry.
Hosted by State Representatives Angela Moore and Long Tran this event is taking place Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM at the Georgia State Capitol (Room 230), this roundtable discussion will focus on AI, DEI, and the Future of Multicultural Filmmaking, along with strategies for funding independent films in 2025.
Hosted during Georgia Film Week, the summit will feature top voices from the entertainment industry, policy makers, and thought leaders exploring how emerging technology and inclusive initiatives can drive the next wave of film production in Georgia.
GALFA invites media, legislators, and film professionals to attend this crucial conversation shaping the future of Georgia’s creative economy.

ATLANTA, GA – La Georgia Latino Film Alliance (GALFA) se enorgullece en presentar la Cumbre Legislativa de GALFA, un evento clave que reunirá a legisladores estatales, líderes de la industria y cineastas para discutir el futuro de la narración multicultural en la próspera industria cinematográfica de Georgia.
Organizado por los Representantes Estatales Angela Moore y Long Tran, este evento se llevará a cabo el martes 18 de marzo de 2025, de 1:30 PM a 3:00 PM en el Capitolio del Estado de Georgia (Sala 230). Durante esta mesa redonda, se abordarán temas fundamentales como IA (inteligencia artificial), DEI (Diversidad, Equidad e Inclusión) y el futuro del cine multicultural, así como estrategias para la financiación de películas independientes en 2025.
Realizado en el marco de la Semana del Cine en Georgia, el evento contará con destacados expertos de la industria del entretenimiento, formuladores de políticas y líderes de opinión, quienes explorarán cómo la tecnología emergente y las iniciativas inclusivas pueden impulsar la próxima ola de producción cinematográfica en el estado.
