CREW UP AND CASTING CALLS IN GEORGIA
While the Georgia Latino Film Festival Office does not hire crew members nor cast actors and extras for film and TV projects, there are a number of ways for Georgians to find work in the industry. The Help Wanted Hotline (404-962-4055 or online) has information on crew and casting opportunities that the Georgia Department of Economic Development has been notified about.
For crew and support services, add yourself or your company to our Reel-Crew online production guide. Crew registration requires Georgia residency and industry credits.
The Georgia Film & Television Sourcebook contains information about companies shooting in Georgia and casting/crew opportunities. The Sourcebook also allows you to post your services for others to see.
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT ENTERING THE INDUSTRY
CREW INFO When applying for a crew position it is important to indicate at the top of the resume and/or in a cover letter which department or job one is applying for. A general “I’ll do anything” resume will most likely get lost in the shuffle.If you are new to the industry and looking for work, the typical entry level job is that of Production Assistant (P.A.). In addition to the sources listed above, you may wish to get your name out there by taking P.A. training courses or networking with other film professionals.
