During the fall months, Georgia is still Hot although all of our indoor venues have good air conditioning systems. We recommend that you dress professionally and comfortably by day and dress up for evening events.
Hartfield Jackson International Airport is the closest airport to the festival being approximately 20 minutes away.
GALFF’s daytime activities primarily take place at Georgia Public Broadcasting, with the exception of the the Opening and Closing receptions GALFF’s nightly entertainment is also in close proximity with no event being more than a quick taxi ride away. Taxi fares vary between approximately $10 and $30, with $40 being the cost from Hartfield Jackson International Airport to Buckhead.

GALFF does have will call service through 9:30 pm on the first and second days of the festival. You cannot enter any festival event without a pass eventbrite confirmation or ticket, so if you plan to attend evening events on the day that you arrive to the festival, you must make appropriate flight arrangements to enable you to get to the Festival Registration Center within these hours. Please refer to the festival’s Event Schedule.
When you purchase your pass(es)/ticket(s) online, you have the ability to tell us who else is authorized to pick them up on your behalf. That person must have a copy of your receipt and government issued I.D. to present at the time of pick-up.
