The Georgia Latino Film Alliance (GALFA) recently held a special VIP screening of the movie “Plane” w one of the stars Angel Fabian Rivera at the SilverSpot Theatre in the Battery. The event was an amazing opportunity for our members  to catch a special early screening of the movie and hear from one of its star, Fabian Rivera. The screening was held in a spacious theater Silverspot.

Introductions to the event included a brief overview of GALFA by Co-founders Yvette Moise and Dr. Jose Marquez, PhD on its mission to highlight the works of new and undiscovered Latino filmmakers in Georgia. The film itself was awesome and Angel Fabian Rivera gave a strong performance that moved those in attendance to applaud..

Following the screening, attendees were able to meet and get autographs from the Angel. He personally spent time with each attendee, sharing stories, listening to feedback, and posing for pictures. It was an incredible experience to be part of such an intimate exchange with a Georgia talent like him.

Overall, the GALFA VIP screening of “Plane w Angel Fabian Rivera” offered movie fans a unique chance to support the work of talented local emerging young filmmakers. It was a wonderful night full of powerful performances, enjoyable conversations, and inspiring stories.
