Claudia Llosa is a Peruvian filmmaker. Born in 1976, she rose to international fame when she won the Oscar for best foreign film for The Milk of Sorrow in 2010. She studied film directing at the University of Lima and continued her training at Sundance. With her debut feature Madeinusa she received several awards, among them from the festival where she was trained, the Rotterdam International Film Festival, and the Mar de Plata International Film Festival.¡Orgullo latino!Claudia Llosa es una cineasta peruana. Nacida en 1976, saltó a la fama internacional cuando ganó el Oscar a la mejor película extranjera por La teta asustada en 2010.
