The Georgia Latino Film Alliance (GALFA) www.Galiff.org is pleased to announce its partnership with Georgia Entertainment News’ “Georgia Unscripted Roadshow"
taking place in 2023. The Roadshow aims to bring together industry experts, business executives, elected leaders, and government officials to discuss the local creative economy
and the profound impact of film, music, broadcast, digital production, and gaming in each region.
The event, hosted by Georgia Entertainment News, will feature a series of nine roadshow events across Georgia, with the first event scheduled for June 22nd at The Lewis Room
in Athens. The objective of these events is to showcase Georgia's creative economy and highlight the significant contributions of the entertainment industry in every community.
Each roadshow event will have a unique agenda, focusing on crucial topics such as education and workforce development, local private-public collaboration, and the involvement
of businesses in the growth of the creative economy. The Georgia Unscripted Athens event will include esteemed speakers and panel discussions, covering areas such as "Local
Creative Economies," "Workforce Development & Education," "Building Georgia's Digital Entertainment Future," and a panel discussion featuring local business executives involved
in film, music, gaming, arts, and more.
"We are thrilled to come together to connect and engage with individuals dedicated to Georgia's creative economy, while exploring ways to foster more opportunities for growth
and participation," said Randy Davidson, President of Georgia Entertainment News. "Our esteemed speakers and the distinguished individuals we plan to honor during the event
share our commitment to creating more job opportunities for all Georgians."
The 2023 Georgia Unscripted Roadshow is presented by FilmHedge, PhilanthroFilms, and South Georgia Studios, in collaboration with premier partners Assembly Studios, Brasfield
Gorrie, ICP, and Yancey Entertainment. Additional roadshow events are scheduled to take place in various locations throughout Georgia. Other organizations supporting the roadshow
