GEORGIA LATINO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES THE 2025 FESTIVAL WINNERS (Eng and Spanish)

The Georgia Latino International Film Festival (GALIFF) 2025 wrapped another successful year in Atlanta, Georgia, held from October 2nd – 5th, spotlighting the rich storytelling, creative power, and cultural pride of the Latino and multicultural filmmaking community.

Hosted by former CNN correspondent Nick Valencia, the 2025 edition of GALIFF presented standout voices in film with its annual GALIFF 2025 Jury Awards, honoring excellence in narrative and documentary features, series, and short films. The festival continues to elevate emerging and established Latino filmmakers who are shaping the future of entertainment.

Yvette Moise, President of the Georgia Latino Film Alliance (GALFA) and Executive Director of GALIFF, shared heartfelt remarks during the closing ceremony: “We are incredibly proud to honor this year’s GALIFF 2025 winners whose bold storytelling and visionary filmmaking reflect the brilliance of our creative community,” said Moise. “From thought-provoking documentaries to captivating narratives and powerful shorts, these artists are pushing culture forward and redefining what’s possible on screen. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and deep gratitude to our partners for their unwavering commitment to inclusive and impactful storytelling.”

This year’s festival brought together filmmakers, industry leaders, and audiences from across the country to spotlight the growing impact of Latino talent in film and television. The winning films represent bold vision, cultural authenticity, and a commitment to storytelling that reflects the richness and diversity of our community. GALIFF2025 continues to be a platform where our stories, voices, and creativity shine,” said Dr. José Marquez, CEO of the Georgia Latino Film Alliance. “Each winner represents the best of who we are as storytellers—fearless, innovative, and deeply rooted in our heritage.”

“The Georgia Latino Film Alliance is a vital part of the cultural landscape that drives our state’s thriving film industry,” added Michael Owens, Mayor of Brazelton. “By amplifying Latino voices, GALIFF is not only shaping the future of entertainment but also strengthening the creative economy of Georgia.”

ATLANTA, GA — 15 de octubre de 2025 — El Festival Internacional de Cine Latino de Georgia (GALIFF) 2025 cerró otro exitoso año en Atlanta, Georgia, celebrado del 2 al 5 de octubre, destacando la riqueza narrativa, el poder creativo y el orgullo cultural de la comunidad latina y multicultural del cine.

Presentado por el ex corresponsal de CNN Nick Valencia, la edición 2025 de GALIFF reconoció a las voces más destacadas del cine con sus Premios del Jurado GALIFF 2025, que honran la excelencia en largometrajes narrativos y documentales, series y cortometrajes. El festival continúa elevando a cineastas latinos emergentes y consolidados que están moldeando el futuro del entretenimiento.

Yvette Moise, presidenta de la Georgia Latino Film Alliance (GALFA) y directora ejecutiva de GALIFF, compartió emotivas palabras durante la ceremonia de clausura:
